Each month, in this newsletter, I will explain one of the LCEOA House Rules. This month I will discuss Rule 7.8: Speeding Limit / Driving Conduct; a very important rule, and one that quite a few people (visitors and residents alike) do not always follow.
RULE 7.8 SPEEDING LIMIT / DRIVING CONDUCT
No person shall drive any vehicle on any road within the Township at a speed in excess of 30km per hour. The association may impose a lower speed limit where appropriate.
Please drive with the utmost caution in LCE at all times, and at no faster than thirty (30) kilometres per hour. Furthermore, please ensure that all yours guests, members of your household, employees or invitees do likewise.
We need to achieve a safe environment for other road users as well as pedestrians, children and wildlife. Speeding can cause serious injury, so we implore you to abide by this rule.
LCE will not relax any of the requirements of this rule and all residents and their invited guests are requested to treat all LCE roads as they would any roads outside LCE.
“Speed is ultimately your decision” PLEASE remain within the 30km per hour limit!
So, set a good example to other drivers, if you adhere to the speed limit the chances are other drivers will follow your example.
